Miten was Shanti’s ( my son ) favorite singer even before he started singing with Premal. I asked him to listen to my songs, when I was still so bad at recording, that it must have insulted his ears, but he was so sweet telling me “keep on singing” and he liked “Everyday we are born”

I saw them perform first in Poona I think, but my breakthrough was a concert in the countryside near Munich. That was when I heard and sang the Gayatri Mantra for the first time. I didn’t get the words, but I couldn’t stop singing it. They have been still improving on so many levels. What means most to me, is how they are an invitation for the audience to sing along and when that happened on few occasions in Hamburg and Zürich, it was like Angels singing to me.
